Cheney says Hastert shouldn't step down.

When George W. Bush said his piece about Foleygate earlier this week, he embraced Dennis Hastert but stopped just short of saying that the speaker shouldn't resign. In an interview aboard Air Force Two, Vice President Dick Cheney has now taken that extra step: "I'm a huge Denny Hastert fan -- I think hes a great speaker," Cheney tells Bill Sammon. "And it makes no sense at all for him to think about stepping down."
