As the vocalist and lyricist for the seminal Los Angeles rock band X, Exene Cervenka has rightfully established her reputation as a performer and writer of extraordinary conviction and skill. X, whose first two albums, “Los Angeles” and “Wild Gift,” were released to wide critical acclaim. During her hiatus from X, Cervenka released several books of poetry and spoken word CDs, demonstrating her talents as a solo performer.
