Guy LeCharles Gonzalez has performed his work and conducted workshops across the country at numerous middle schools, high schools and universities. He is the founder of the a little bit louder series and was a member of both the 1999 Team NYC – Union Square (NPS Finalist) and 1998 Team New York City (NPS Champions), as well as a 1998 Nuyorican Poets Cafe Grand Slam finalist.
Guy LeCharles Gonzalez is the co-author of “Burning Down The House” (Soft Skull Press, 2000) and a contributing writer for Poets & Writers Magazine. He has published two chapbooks as well, “Wonder Woman’s Deep Voice” and “Somewhere…Left Of Thirty.”
