"O" is for Outlaw is the latest book in Sue Grafton's alphabet series which follow protagonist Kinsey Millhone. Through the previous fourteen books (A-O), readers have been fed short rations when it comes to Kinsey Millhone's past: a morsel here, a dollop there. Fans know about the aunt who raised her, the second husband who left her, the long-lost family up the California coast. Until now, husband number one has remained a blip on the screen.

In "O" Is for Outlaw Grafton takes a revealing excursion into Kindey's past. Sue Grafton is an international bestseller, published in 28 countries and 26 languages, including Estonian, Bulgarian, and Indonesian-- and has a readership in the millions. She is known for her eye for detail and her juicy character descriptions. She began the alphabet series in 1982 and is aiming to complete it by 2015--give or take a decade. She spends part of the year in Louisville, Kentucky, and the rest in Montecito, California, where she is presently working on her next novel.

"Unlike many detective series, Grafton's seems only to get better each time out." -- Entertainment Weekly
