"Rum Punch"

Elmore Leonard‘s books have been nominated for Edgar Allan Poe Awards. “LaBrava,” won for Best Novel in 1983. He was also awarded the first annual International Association of Crime Writers’ North American Hammett Prize, and the Mystery Writers gave Leonard the Grand Master Award. Successful films have been made of his novels, “Get Shorty” and “Out of Sight.” Award-winning director Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction) directed “Jackie Brown,” a film based on Leonard’s novel “Rum Punch.” Tarantino also plans to bring three more Leonard novels to the silver screen: “Bandits,” “Freaky Deaky” and “Killshot.”
