The real slim Puffy

Puff Daddy drops almost 30 pounds in two months; Whitney has a supernatural stalker; and Bono and Donny Osmond might hop on the duet bandwagon.

Puffy might have to change his nickname.

Though no one ever accused the slender Mr. Combs of being chunky (Phat? Yes. Fat? No), the troubled rapper has apparently dropped gobs of poundage since his relationship with Jennifer Lopez went south and his weapons and bribery trial got underway.

According to the New York Daily News, the depressed Puffster has shed nearly 30 pounds in the last two months alone.

Poor Puffy!

A pal told Daily News columnists Rush and Malloy that the rap mogul was “heartbroken” and “devastated” when he saw photos of Lopez cozying up to dancer Cris Judd.

And Puffy himself recently told the New York Post that “it hurts; I still love her. It’s just bad all over.”

Awwww.

Are you my mother?

As if Whitney Houston didn’t have enough problems, a 33-year-old woman named Desiree Weeks has been stalking her. Weeks has sent a flurry of cards, notes and gifts to the diva, whom she believes is her “supernatural reincarnated mother.”

A New Jersey judge has just issued a temporary restraining order barring Weeks from any contact with Houston, whom she refers to as “Mommy.”

Guess Desiree will have to look elsewhere for the greatest love of all.

Biting the hand that used to feed him

Just don’t duet

First Eminem and Elton. Now this.

The U.K. Sun reports that, after Bono and Donny Osmond crossed paths at the British Music Awards earlier this week, the U2 frontman expressed his admiration for his toothy colleague.

“I’m really flattered. It would be great to do a duet with him,” Osmond told the tabloid. “We could call ourselves Bono and Donno.”

You’re a little bit Irish; I’m a little bit rock and roll?
