Series
The Emmy-nominated True Hollywood Story (8 p.m., E!) airs back-to-back in black odes to River Phoenix and David Strickland (9 p.m.) on “Only the Good Die Young” week. Let me repeat — the Emmy-nominated “True Hollywood Story.” However, it’s going to be hard for E! to top tonight’s Biography (8 p.m., A&E) — the subject is Robert Blake. P.O.V. (10 p.m., PBS, check local listings) presents “True-Hearted Vixens,” a documentary about the 1999 tryouts for the Women’s Professional Football League. On a rerun of NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC), Fancy sends Diane and Danny to opposite corners after they make their relationship too public.
