Teachers want pink slip for Paige
The nation’s largest teachers union has upped the ante in its rhetorical war with Education Secretary Rod Paige. The National Education Association wants President Bush to fire Paige for calling the union a “terrorist organization.”
But the demand isn’t going too far, it seems. The White House says Paige’s job is safe.
