Bush imagines
George W. Bush channels John Lennon.
This is a really nice editing job, matching the existing Bush/Lennon mash-up with actual speech footage — and a muppet or two thrown in for good measure. Bush, incidentally, was not a Lennon fan. He has said that he did like a few early Beatles records. “Then they got a bit weird,” he’s said. “I didn’t like all that later stuff when they got strange.” Could’ve fooled us.
