Looking for Rove in all the wrong places.
Filmmaker Andy Cobb writes of this video on MySpace: “Hopefully it is clear this is intended to kick Karl Rove while he’s down, not mock anyone unfortunate enough to receive ‘stop loss’ orders.” Cobb’s video is a satire of Eminem’s video “Stan,” he says.
And here’s Eminem’s “Stan” video, which, Cobb says, is “such a dark and sinister video, I think it captured the really mean-spirited vibe of this project — devoting an entire video to kicking an evil bastard when he’s down.”
