Tom DeLay says the White House is at least partly to blame for the uproar over the firing of eight U.S. attorneys last year — but not in the way you might think. Appearing on the “Today” show this morning, the disgraced former House majority leader says the “made-up scandal” over the prosecutor purge is “just a taste of what [it's] going to be like for the next two years.” The reason: “The Bush administration sort of showed their weakness when they got rid of Don Rumsfeld.”
