Weekend Pick

Showtime / Cliff Lipson

This weekend, those with premium cable are going to have to make some tough choices about how to allocate their TV time. The excitement begins Friday night with the finale of "In Treatment" (9:30 p.m. EDT on HBO), where we'll learn (and Paul will learn ... or not learn) what all of the chaos of the past few weeks means. Then on Sunday, the second season of "The Tudors" returns (premieres 9 p.m. EDT Sunday, March 30, on Showtime) followed by the debut of the new comedy "Tracey Ullman's State of the Union" (10 p.m. EDT Sunday, March 30, on Showtime), in which Ullman takes on this great nation of ours and all of the twisted, freakish bastards that reside herein.

Also…

On Friday, Jack Black stars in the deeply demented film "Nacho Libre" (8 p.m. EDT on TMC), and the season finale of comedy "Free Radio" features an appearance by Ray Romano (9:30 p.m. on VH1). Then, the behind-the-scenes special "Battlestar Galactica: Revealed" airs at 9 p.m. on Sci Fi. On Saturday, Leo DiCaprio stars in Steven Spielberg's romp "Catch Me If You Can" at 8 p.m. on ABC and "Torchwood" airs at 9 p.m. on BBC America. On Sunday, "Dog Whisperer: Lives Changed" airs at 8 p.m. EDT on National Geographic, "Oprah's Big Give" airs at 9 p.m. on ABC, Part 1 of two-part "Sense and Sensibility" airs on "Masterpiece" (9 p.m on PBS, check listings), and Part 4 of seven-part miniseries "John Adams" airs at 9 p.m. on HBO.
