Willie Nelson offers his, er, "resources" to Barack Obama.
Subject line of an e-mail received here at Salon today: “FARM AID PRESIDENT WILLIE NELSON OFFERS RESOURCES TO PRESIDENT-ELECT OBAMA.”
I know I shouldn’t laugh, because the e-mail is serious and God knows the issue of our food system is an important one. But man, that subject line is great.
By the way, a reliable source informs me that Willie’s “resources” are typically kept in brick form under the rear seat of his tour bus.
