Jon Stewart takes down CNBC

Watch this greatest hits compilation of the network's rah-rah fronting for the Bush economy and "losers" like Bear Stearns, Lehman and AIG.

I haven't written about CNBC's Rick Santelli's faux-populist anti-Obama rant, or mad man Jim Cramer's slurring Obama as a "Bolshevik." They're both repellent. Robert Reich says it all here.

But in eight minutes, Jon Stewart destroys them both, along with CNBC, for the way they all flacked the financial and real estate bubbles right up until the brink of disaster. The most trusted name in financial news? Not.

Watch.
