I’m debating Liz Cheney on CNN
About whether closing Guant
I’ll be debating Liz Cheney tonight, on CNN’s “Campbell Brown,” on the question of whether closing Guantánamo threatens national security. Guess which side I’m on.
Actually, I think I have the easy job. If closing Gitmo is a mistake, blame the Bush-Cheney administration, because President Bush promised to close it in 2006. It’s a non-issue.
The debate will come around the show’s midpoint, but tune in at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT so you don’t miss it. I’ll blog about it later.
