Franken sworn in to Senate

It took a while, but Minnesota finally has two senators again

Topics: War Room, Al Franken, D-Minn.,

Poor Al Franken: First, he has to wait eight months before being sworn in to the Senate, and then when he finally does get seated, it’s on the same day as Michael Jackson’s funeral.

Franken didn’t exactly get wall-to-wall cable and network coverage for his ceremony, but he did get to be sworn in by Vice President Biden, and he got a standing ovation as well.
