Obama: “The Cambridge police acted stupidly”

At Wednesday's press conference, the President responded to the arrest of Harvard professor, Henry Louis Gates, Jr.


The most animated moment during Obama’s press conference was when he was asked to respond to the role of race in the arrest of Henry Louis Gates, Jr.  The President had a few thoughts on what would happen if the cops saw him breaking into the White House.  Salon’s Mike Madden writes more.
