Standing with Planned Parenthood

Come see me, Lizz Winstead, Sandra Bernhard and others support the besieged and crucial women's healthcare provider

The day the House of Representatives voted to defund Planned Parenthood, Twitter exploded with stories of the way women have used Planned Parenthood in their lives -- for routine healthcare like mammograms, birth control and, yes, abortion. The amazing Lizz Winstead got the idea that because Planned Parenthood has always been there for us, it's time for us to be there for Planned Parenthood. She's been on the road for months with her "Planned Parenthood: I'm here for you" tour. Tonight I join her at New York's Gramercy Theatre.

I'm honored to be in the company of Winstead, a writer, comedian and co-creator of "The Daily Show" -- and now, my friend. We'll be there with the incompable Sandra Bernhard, Lisa Lampanelli, Ambrosia Parsley -- and who knows who else. There are still tickets available at the door; if you're in New York, come see us, and come be there for Planned Parenthood.

I'm traveling home tomorrow, back to more regular blogging next week.
