This right was considered a bedrock, undeniable human right since the Magna Carta.

The fact it’s repealed in less than 24 hours after the bombing should tell you something doesn’t pass the smell test. Nothing this important gets passed in 24 hours unless the fix was in. Not since December 8th, 1941 at least, and a lot of people thing even then.

But we normal innocent citizens didn’t need to worry about it affecting us, it was just for Terrorists.

I remember telling everybody who would listen then that a “Terrorist” is anybody the government says is a Terrorist. They poo-pooed it then, and in spite of the expansion of the term a thousandfold since, people like you are still closing your eyes.

Every single time the corporate press trucks out images of Oaklahoma City, the more often I come to conclude that the corporate press organization isn’t doing anything different than the rightwing anti-abortionists do with their stockpiles of aborted fetuses printed on high-gloss Kodak paper. You know, to really make the carnage pop — the gorier, the better!

The only difference is that press organization is trying to distract people from “always remembering” and “never forgetting” the WRONG things in favor of “always remembering” and “never forgetting” the RIGHT things. And of course, they’re the centrist expert paragons of deciding for everybody else what is RIGHT and WRONG. See, we were told — if not ORDERED — to “always remember” Tim McVeigh and 9/11, and “never forget” them because those days “changed everything.

And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to conclude that if every dumbed down and distracted dimbulb is too busy “always remembering” and “never forgetting” McVeigh and 9/11, they don’t have time to “always remember” the many ways the Bush and Obama administrations’ have enabled and rewarded crime, corruption, malfeasance, rape, pillage, and plunder … and “never forget” them. According to the edicts yammered incessantly from the corporate press and its high church of centrist Broderism, that shit’s verboten.

And for good reason: if government agencies such as the FBI are capable of manufacturing Islamic terrorists out of thin air by deliberately playing on their fears and milking their religion, milking racism, etc. only to turn around and the slap the “extremism/terrorist” cuffs on him if or when he acts on those fears planted in his troubled head by the undercover asset — as Glen Greenwald presented plenty of times (to the chagrin of many — FUCKING GREENBECK, YOU LITTLE PRICK!), those government agencies are capable of anything. And they will manufacture no shortage of convenient scapegoats and boogiemen to keep you on the persistently vegetative voter-drone reservation with the full compliance and complicity of the corporate centrist corporate press.

After all, they’re the Serious Adults.

Why ask me? Why should I be obliged to know or even have an opinion on the matter?
All I know is that the damage and its pattern is not consistant with a air blast bomb going off at the street level to close to the building.
I was wrong about there being steel beams, I have not studied this bombing much. But it is hard to credit that a bomb from the street can knock out columns set back on higher floors when that would mean that the rebar would have to be cut.
There is also plenty of witness evidence to there being other bombs and yet they don’t feature at all in the official story. Interestingly they don’t seem to have been refuted either just not mentioned.
Given from what one can see and hence deduce from looking mainly at photos the story we have been told is therefore a false one.

But why do you assume that just because I can spot a false story I must then know the true one is quite beyond me.

Jane Graham says she met three guys in the parking lot who had a paper bag with some wires in it and a building plan. That is some pretty glancing evidence: they could have been doing anything in there. She didn’t even get a good look at their “plans”; she assumed they were plans for the building.

That is not a whole lot of evidence.

So my assumption is that if the government planned this, they didn’t want anybody to know they were doing it. Otherwise, what would be the point?

But my question is: what would be the point in general? What goal was the government trying to accomplish, allegedly, by blowing up the building and making it look like it was done by McVeigh?

Could also have served as impetus for honest lawyers to contribute work, without pangs of conscience, to the Patriot Act which was in progress at the time.

If you want an amazing summary of events that the FBI intentionally ignored in the Oklahoma City bombing and the intentional cover up of the missile take down of Flight 800 I highly recommend the documentary done by Jack Cashill called Mega Fix. It is well worth the effort to get yourself a copy of that documented report. One highlight, there were 250 eyewitnesses that believe it was quite possible that it was a missile they saw headed in the direction of the airplane.
