Hillary Clinton presented Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi with the Congressional Gold Medal yesterday, and, in the ceremony, related a conversation she had with the Myanmar speaker of the lower House of Parliament, in which he said they tried to learn Democracy from the Aaron Sorkin show.

The speaker asked Clinton to "help us learn how to be a Democratic Congress," she said in her remarks. "He went on to tell me that they were trying to teach themselves by watching old segments of The West Wing. I said, 'I think we can do better than that, Mr. Speaker.'"
