M.I.A appeases Twitter with new track

The British artist caved into demands of a small group who "spammed all day asking her to leak something"

A group of M.I.A. fans has stumbled upon an ingenius/annoying new way to get new music: Twitter spamming. After a handful of loyal and persistent followers messaged her "all day," the British artist e-mailed a new track, "atTENTtion" to one of them. The song has been uploaded to YouTube and confirmed as authentic M.I.A.

As Pitchfork notes, the track is "classic M.I.A," but the artist hasn't revealed yet whether "atTENTtion" will appear on her upcoming"Mathangi." Give it a listen below:
