Armstrong’s enemies find vindication, sadness

First shunned, then vilified by Lance Armstrong, Mike Anderson had to move to the other side of the world to get his life back.

Now running a bike shop in New Zealand, Armstrong’s former assistant says if he doesn’t care if he never hears his ex-boss’ voice again.

Anderson is among the many former teammates, opponents and associates to receive the Armstrong treatment, presumably for not going with the party line — that the now-disgraced, seven-time Tour de France cyclist didn’t need to cheat to win.

Now that Armstrong has admitted that he’s a doper, many of those who saw their lives changed are going through a gamut of emotions.

Some feel vindicated, others remain vengeful. Some are sad, while others, like Anderson, say they are simply done with Armstrong.
