Lindsay Lohan to guest star as herself on Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management”

The actress will play a patient who gets romantically involved with the Dr. Charlie Goodson

Lindsay Lohan, the tabloid staple who has found an ally in the similarly out-of-control Charlie Sheen, is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Sheen’s show, “Anger Management.” Her role is an eerie nod to real life: in it, she’ll play herself, introduced to audiences as a therapy patient. FX announced today via press release that in the episode, Lohan “develops a romantic relationship with Sheen’s character,” Dr. Charlie Goodson.

Sheen and Lohan, whom The New York Times describe as kindred spirits, have forged a close relationship over the years. Recently, Sheen lent the actress $100,000 to help her pay back taxes, and they’re co-stars in the upcoming “Scary Movie 5″ together, where they get pretty cozy:
