Although the final ratings are still out, initial numbers from Nielsen indicate that Justin Timberlake's "SNL" episode this weekend drew in the highest number of viewers for the NBC show in 14 months.

Timberlake has been on a media blitz ever since he announced his new album, "The 20/20 Experience," earlier this year, having performed new material at the Grammy Awards, announced a tour with Jay-Z and this weekend revived some of his classic "SNL" hits during his fifth time hosting the sketch show.

The episode averaged a 3.7 rating among adults 18-49 across 25 markets with Local People Meters, the highest record since Charles Barkley hosted in January 2012.
