The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional, extending more than 1,000 federal benefits to gay married couples, paving the way to treat gay bi-national couples equally under immigration law and clearing a path for a host of other victories for same-sex couples in the United States.

The news made Twitter users feel pretty, pretty good.
