Topics: From the Wires, ,

HANOVER, Pa. (AP) — When central Pennsylvania farmer Ben Klunk tells people about the mutant corn he found, they’re all ears.

Klunk tells Hanover’s The Evening Sun newspaper (http://bit.ly/169LxUU) he discovered an ear of corn with four heads. He says he’s been keeping it in a refrigerator since finding it last week.

Klunk says the four-headed ear of corn is unlike anything he’s ever seen and he feels lucky to have made the discovery. He tells the newspaper, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime ear of corn.”

Klunk hasn’t said if he plans to eat the corn, donate it to science or put it on display.
