Harry Reid: Senate needs to stop fighting Obamacare and start facing climate change

Colorado's floods are the latest reason to take action, says the Senate majority leader

Majority Leader Harry Reid took to the Senate floor yesterday to implore Republicans to get over Obamacare and start focusing on energy efficiency.

"Climate change is here. We are doing nothing about it," Reid said. As examples, he pointed to Colorado's floods, and sea level rise in Bangladesh and the Marshall Islands. Meanwhile, he continued, "They are spending all of our time, the American taxpayers’ time, trying to repeal a law that has been in effect for 4 years."
