Network executives can rest assured that audiences will tune in to the "Golden Globe Awards" for the next two years, because beloved comedy duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are returning to host.

Fey and Poehler, who hosted the 2013 awards ceremony, were received warmly by television critics; the ceremony boasted a total of 19.7 million viewers -- a six-year high for the Golden Globes. NBC president of alternative and late night programming Paul Telegdy told the Hollywood Reporter that "they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season."

The two managed to entertain crowds with impersonations and quick-witted one-liners that stayed fresh and edgy without becoming offensive (unlike former host Ricky Gervais, who "could not be here tonight because he is no longer technically in show business," Fey joked).

Next year’s Golden Globes will be held in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Jan. 12, giving the two plenty of time to come up with some new drinking games and more advice -- maybe for Miley Cyrus?
