Bruce Springsteen has announced plans to release his 18th studio album, "High Hopes," out Jan 14 by Columbia Records. The album, his first since 2012's "Wrecking Ball," features collaborations with Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello. Though Morello mostly performs guitar on the album, in a new version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad," Morello accompanies Springsteen in a duet.

The album also includes members of the E Street Band and what Springsteen says is "some of our best unreleased material from the past decade," including material from Clarence Clemons and Danny Federici, who died in 2011 and 2008, respectively.
