Like his brother Kevin Bacon, who bravely stepped out of the shadow of "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon," Michael Bacon has stepped out of the shadow of his famous brother, Kevin, by starring in an ad for Oscar Meyer turkey bacon.
Oscar Meyer promotes Bacon's less famous sibling by drawing similarities between him and bacon's less famous sibling, turkey bacon. "Both these bacons are overshadowed by their famous siblings," the ad states. "But when you are born into a great bacon family, bacon greatness is born into you."
To be fair, though, Michael Bacon has made a name for himself, too: The talented musician and composer has won an Emmy for his musical scores, which appear in both television and film. Still, he's excited to be an Unsung Bacon hero:
