Police have taken Ukrainian TV journalist and all-around provocateur Vitalii Sediuk into custody for allegedly attacking Brad Pitt at the Hollywood premiere for "Maleficent," reports the Hollywood Reporter.

A man jumped over the barricade at the red carpet event and then struck him in the face, according to witnesses. Pitt was not injured, and according to CNN, neither he nor his partner, Angelina Jolie, "appeared fazed by the incident."

The 25-year-old Sediuk, who has a long history of "pranking" and straight-up assaulting stars, was quickly arrested by the LAPD on suspicion of battery. Sediuk most recently made news for sneaking under America Ferrera's dress at the "How to Train Your Dragon 2" movie premiere at Cannes, and previously for attempting to kiss Will Smith, charging the stage at the 2013 Grammy Awards and hugging Bradley Cooper's crotch (the list goes on). Remind us again -- how does this guy still have press credentials?
