Another day, another school shooting — this time in Troutdale, Oregon.
Another school shooting, another round of fighting on Twitter between supporters of gun safety measures and gun rights absolutists.
Another round of fighting on Twitter between the warring sides on the gun safety issue, another opportunity for a far right journalist to argue that a school shooting happened not because of the preponderance of guns but rather because of their absence.
On cue, here was how John Nolte of Breitbart.com responded to Tuesday’s awful news:
Can someone explain to me again why we're not putting armed personnel in schools? When will we do something to stop this?— John Nolte (@NolteNC) June 10, 2014
How many school shootings before the Left & Media wake up to fact that our schools are targets cuz shooters know no1 is armed?— John Nolte (@NolteNC) June 10, 2014
How many kids have to die b4 media puts away gun control agenda & focuses on real solutions like armed personnel in our schools?????— John Nolte (@NolteNC) June 10, 2014
Left want them unprotected. Who you kiddin,' you heartless freak MT @markos: Conservative priorities ... not “schoolchildren staying alive"— John Nolte (@NolteNC) June 10, 2014
Until next time. Sigh.
