Liza Minnelli's rep, Scott Gorenstein, sent actor Shia LaBeouf a DVD copy of the 1972 film version of "Cabaret," according to the Hollywood Reporter. Minnelli starred in the 1972 film version, for which she an Oscar for best actress.

Last Thursday, LaBeouf missed the ending of the Broadway play, after he was handcuffed and removed from a performance of "Cabaret" at Studio 54. He was apparently causing a disturbance during the performance, and is being charged with five misdemeanor counts.

Now, LaBeouf will get to see the ending of the show.

"What can I say?" wrote Forenstein on his Facebook page, according the Hollywood Reporter. "I just had to."

As Salon's Mary Elizabeth Williams noted earlier this week, being kicked out of the Broadway show was not the first skirmish for the actor, who has had a rough transition from childhood Disney star to adult fame. (In a similar note, TMZ just released another bizarre video of the actor outside of a New York strip club.)
