As if Mario Diaz's Friday wasn't frustrating enough, having to report on Shia LaBeouf's recent arrest for New York's PIX 11, the broadcast journalist was accosted by Erykah Badu's giant hat mid-report. The hypersexual hat not only tried to kiss Diaz, but also made some prurient jokes for the camera. Diaz, however, handled the "fan" like a pro:
Badu at first denied that the hat was attached to her famous head, but eventually she relented and sent a coy apology to Diaz via Twitter:

All must have been forgiven, as Badu did, after all, make Diaz's report go viral. In fact, they seem to be planning another rendezvous (it is not clear if the hat will make the date):
