In 2010, Tom Berninger needed a job. His brother, Matt Berninger, is lead singer of one of the greatest rock bands of our time: the National. Matt gave Tom a job as a roadie for the band, as a way to help out his brother and bond on the road. What emerged was the documentary "Mistaken for Strangers." (Salon spoke to the brothers about the process of making "Mistaken for Strangers."
In this clip from "Funny or Die," the documentary is being adapted for the theater: "Mistaken for Strangers: The Play." Co-stars from HBO's "Bored to Death," Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis are together again.
Danson is to play Matt, Galifianakis, to portray Tom. Together they work with the real Matt and Tom to perfect the play. Watch below:
