"The Daily Show" gives future "SNL" anchor Michael Che the perfect send-off

Che, the show's newest correspondent, was only a cast member for 58 business days

After just three months -- 58 business days -- on "The Daily Show," newest correspondent Michael Che is departing to co-host "SNL's" "Weekend Update." Che, 31, is the first correspondent to leave the show since John Oliver bid farewell after seven years in December.

While "The Daily Show" surprised Oliver with an emotional tribute, the gang appropriately turned Che's farewell into a roast that mocked his remarkably short tenure on the show. The bit, likely rehearsed, ended with Stewart singing Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You" to a video montage of Che's memorable work -- basically just one segment.
