On Monday evening's edition of "The Colbert Report," Stephen Colbert addressed the newest tactic used to get Americans to cast their vote: shame. An organization has started alerting people of their friends who haven't voted in the past three elections. Theoretically, the embarrassment that causes will force them to vote in today's midterms.

"A flyer of shame," Colbert says. "And this time, it is not someone stuck in coach on United."

"After the election," he continues, "These folks say they're going to be printing up new flyers telling everyone in the neighborhood who voted and who didn't. So please, please bow to this emotional blackmail and vote tomorrow. It is your sacred duty if you agree with my politics. If you don't, I hear they've got Ebola in there. I wouldn't go."
