Pseudoscience promoter Dr. Oz's Twitter Q&A was a magnificent train wreck

When will social media teams see this stuff coming?

Dr. Mehmet Oz, television show host and cardiothoracic surgeon, has gotten in hot water for peddling "magic weight-loss cures" and other miracle remedies that, well, aren't. In June, he was even summoned to appear before a Senate panel on consumer protection to explain why he had been so irresponsible. He responded unapologetically: "I actually do personally believe in the items I talk about in the show. I passionately study them. I recognize that often times they don't have the scientific muster to present as fact."

So when he asked his Twitter followers on Monday for their questions, the Internet did not disappoint.
