We have no idea why “SNL” cut this amazing musical sketch

Featuring Obama, God and Edward Norton

This week’s Woody Harrelson “SNL” episode was pretty chock-full of great material, which still doesn’t explain why they cut this brilliant sketch from the final lineup. The intricate ensemble number features all the good things in life, including -- in no particular order -- a catchy song-and-dance number, Twitter humor, Woody Harrelson as God, Kate McKinnon as Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sasheer Zamata’s Michelle Obama channelling Etta James, a cameo by Ed Norton (the real one), Ed Norton making out with Aidy Bryant, and the best argument we've heard so far for "Birdman" to win the Oscar. Watch!
