The Tumblr was not enough. The merch and the stickers were not enough. No: One woman has finally found a way to commemorate Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, aka "Notorious RBG," in a more permanent fashion -- by getting a giant tattoo of Ginsburg's face on her arm.
"I decided to get Ruth Bader Ginsburg because I was planning to get different feminist icons as a sleeve," Rachel Fink, a University of Maryland student, explained to CNN. "I decided to go with her first because she is just one of my role models." She went on:
I definitely think the feminist movement has gained a sort of reawakening within the past few years. That's one of the reasons I really like [Ginsburg], is that she understands that change moves slowly, and that in order to make these big steps in the equal rights process, you have to take little steps first.
Fink's final product, a portrait emblazoned on her upper arm after more than three hours of work by tattoo artist "Nikkiballs," is truly something to behold:
