Joan Rivers' daughter breaks silence on glaring Oscars "In Memoriam" snub

Her statement may finally put all the Internet anger to rest

For reasons that still remain entirely unclear, Oscars red carpet queen Joan Rivers was not recognized during the Oscars' "In Memoriam" portion Sunday night. And while we may never get a statement from the Academy addressing this "snub" and the thought process behind it  -- at least we now have  a public statement from Rivers' daughter that could finally put all the Internet anger to rest.

Melissa Rivers offered her take on the Oscars debacle through her mother's official Facebook page Monday night. We learn that she's hardly as riled up over the events as the rest of the Internet and has resolved to focus on the overwhelming support she's received after her mother's passing.
