Adam Sandler will never forget his "SNL" dinners with Chris Farley

The actor and comedian famously ordered two of everything he planned on eating

Long before Adam Sandler was throwing punches at Bob Barker, he was a wide-eyed 23-year-old trying to make something of himself on "SNL."

Sandler visited Conan Thursday night and took us back to those early days of "SNL" when he was telling Lorne Michaels "I'm the next Eddie Murphy!"

His favorite memories from "SNL," we learn, revolved around the cast dinners. Every week the writing staff would take the host out to dinner -- and when it was Michael Keaton's turn to be taken out, Sandler was stoked.
