Last night, Deadline’s Nellie Andreevna published a lengthy piece titled “Pilots 2015: The Year Of Ethnic Castings—About Time Or Too Much Of Good Thing?” As you can probably guess just from the title of the piece, people were not happy with Andreevna’s offensive, patently ridiculous suggestion that TV’s diversity pendulum "may have swung a bit too far in the opposite direction" and the notion "ethnic" actors are stealing white actors roles.
