Grain mixed, livestock mostly higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at $5.1175 a bushel; May corn was 1.50 cents lower at $3.7575 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $2.6475 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 3.25 cents to $9.7650 a bushel.

Beef was mostly higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was 1.08 cents higher $1.5340 a pound; May feeder cattle was unchanged at $2.1690 a pound; June lean hogs gained .20 cent to $.7600 a pound.
