Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye are the most badass, clickbait-iest names in science and on the Internet. When the two publicly interact, it is a good day for bloggers. When they publicly issue sick burns, we call it a day and go home.

On Wednesday, Tyson attempted to destroy the phrase "meteoric rise," claiming that it made no sense. Nye put him in his place:
