Jon Stewart brought Senior Hispanic Correspondent Al Madrigal onto the show Wednesday night to unpack some of the obvious pandering to Latinos he's started to observe in the 2016 races, from Hillary Clinton's return to Nevada to Jeb Bush erroneously listing himself as Hispanic.

Madrigal was quick to dismiss "Latino" Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio when Stewart brought them into the discussion, classifying them as part of the "snooty subset."

“Eh. I guess those guys are technically Latinos,” Madrigal explained. “I mean there is a lot more to being Latino then just being Latino. Mainly because they’re Cuban. Really a small, and I gotta be honest, snooty subset. They’re like the WASPs of the Latino world.”

The one candidate truly inspiring "The Daily Show's" Hispanic Correspondent? Jeb Bush. While most candidates waited until the very last second to go after Latinos, Madrigal joked that Bush started his outreach program in 1974 when he married his Mexican wife, Columba. "He literally married into the demographic."
