An insensitive thing was said at the "Guys Choice Awards"? And it came from a guy who once argued with a chair!?

Clint Eastwood’s Caitlyn Jenner joke will be cut from the Guys Choice Awards -- the "heartfelt event where comedy is king" -- when Spike airs the program June 18.

While introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Saturday night, the actor-director allegedly ran down a short list of athletes who have attempted acting careers over the years. "Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody..." he started in, according to one eyewitness.

Hollywood Life reported that there were audible groans from the crowd after Eastwood delivered the material, and that he followed it up later by saying that he "knew the joke wouldn't work."

Spike senior vice president of communications David Schwarz  confirmed to Entertainment Weekly Monday that the network would be axing the joke from the program.

What's more surprising: that an insensitive thing was uttered at a program literally titled "Guys Choice Awards" or that it came from a guy who once used his national TV spot to argue with a chair for, like, an hour? Have at it in the comments!
