Pizza Hut's "pigs-in-blanket" pizza has "Fox and Friends" hosts comparing wieners

"There is a 'weiner world,'" Brian Kilmeade insisted

On Monday, "Fox & Friends" gave up the pretense of being a news program and became a full-blown infomercial for Pizza Hut's new "pig-in-a-blanket" crusted monstrosity.

"The question is," co-host Brian Kilmeade asked, "do you start with the crust?"

Steve Doocy answered by doing just that, before turning the slice around and taking "a cheese bite."

"Shouldn't you cleanse your palate first?" Kilmeade asked.

"Yeah, should I have some wine or something?" Doocy replied, before turning serious. "You know, it's actually delicious. Their number one topping is pepperoni, and in the 'wiener world,' pepperoni and hot dogs are pretty close."

"There is a 'wiener world,'" Kilmeade said with dead solemnity.

"This may be the best combo yet," co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck said, not sounding at all like a paid spokesperson. "It's available Thursday. Place your orders now."

"You know," Doocy chimed in, "if you have kids at your house for a pizza party, who wouldn't want that?"

"I might just have a party," Hasselbeck said, "just to order this on Thursday."

"I need friends," Kilmeade replied.
