Shelters for Syrian refugees now come in an Ikea box

Yes, you read that right

Ikea partnered with Better Shelter to design refugee shelters that come pre-assembled in two boxes.

The structure costs $1000, takes four to eight hours to assemble and features solar panels, doors that lock and panels that can withstand rain, wind and sun.

The United Nations has already purchased 1,000 shelters for Syrian refugees across the Middle East and Europe.
