LGBT activist nails Ben Carson: "I think you're full of sh*t"

The GOP hopeful can only smile awkwardly after he's put on the spot during a campaign event in Staten Island

While posing for pictures and signing books during a Staten Island campaign stop last week, Ben Carson was confronted by a LGBT activist who asked the GOP hopeful point blank: "Do you think I chose to be gay?"

After repeating the question, Carson smiled and told the activist, "That's a long conversation."

"I think you're full of shit," the activist shot back, effectively summing up Carson's presidential campaign.

Carson apologized in March 2015 after claiming homosexuality was a choice, citing America's prison system. "[People] go into prison straight," Carson told CNN. "[A]nd when they come out, they're gay."

Amid a firestorm of criticism, Carson vowed not to discuss gay rights issues for the remainder of the primaries.

Thankfully, video of Carson's Staten Island stand-off was captured by ABC News:
